Social responsibility

Bridge wants to contribute to the societies in which we do business. We believe that we as a company should do as much as possible to help poverty vanish. Therefore we support several non-profit organisations:

Bridge & 1 % Club:

When we started to think about how our contribution to a better world should look like, we got to know the charity organisation 1% club, which is based in the Netherlands. The concept of this partnership is simple, you can donate 1% of your income for a charity purpose. But the speciality is that through a charity marketplace you are able to choose directly which charity or better which projects you want to support.
As we have also a company in India, we searched for a project in the South of India which is furthermore related to IT services. Here they educate yought in IT.

Dorcas Aid:

Thanks to Dorcas we support these people in Ukraine.

Kseniya, a university student
In Krivoy Rog (Ukraine) we support an excellent student of the local technical university, she is  Kseniya. After her father’s death she moved into a two-room apartment together with her mother and her sister. Besides her interests in the IT domain, she is fond of sports and music and is teaching in a Sunday school during her leisure time. After five years of study she will probably work as an IT expert.

Erzhebeth, a widow
Erzhebeth is a widow and has a son and a daughter. Despite her sanitary problems she loves socialising and as far as possible she tries to manage her household on her own. She gets a monthly pension of 58ˆ. Her daughter and her son aren’t able to assist her, as they have only a little to live for themselves.

Raksha Society:

Raksha Society is an organization that provides various kinds of services for children with disabilities.
The Society has built up a handicraft section where the students can make different products that they sell later on like toys out of wood, sheets, candles and bags. Thereby they feel useful and they can earn money for the school and their selves.
For Bridge they produce several gifts that we give to our Bridge Club partners; so even everyone of our clients supports indirectly this Society.

Bridge & Befriend:

This initiative provides children in need of help with the chance for a better future, by realizing various charitable projects all over the world. We take an active part in a project, which supports a community in South India with the development of an IT educational centre for children. Due to the fact that we have a subsidiary in Kochi (Kerala, South India) by ourselves, we would be glad to employ perhaps one of these supported children in future.
